  • Why not make this an annual event which could grow and grow and GROW?!!!!!

  • Awesome, the second picture of the Fire-up Australia is amazing.

  • It's incredible to see so many other people around the world taking part too - makes me really feel part of an awesome global movement :)

  • I speak for myself and my fellow cake distributers when I say; t'was a beautiful, beautiful night and we were all so glad to be part of it. Next celebration/protest, we will be there. With more fairy cakes.

  • Warming spectacle on a cold night...how did I manage to miss the callup for this? Must arrange something smaller for my active group in Aylesbury...on that Saturday we were Amnesty awareness market stalling in Wendover with a 60th birthday fake cake and mulled wine! Ummm now twelve candles and twelve people standing here and here.........ummmm

  • My feet may have gone numb but big thanks go to the lovely lovely people who handed out cakes and biscuits and to Paul D for getting us all in the pub later. Well worth it and a lot of fun and as someone else said it was nice to be celebrating rather than protesting for once! I keep showing people which light was me - so proud of myself for standing with a glowstick!

  • if someone is thinking of organising one of these in Sydney, Australia then please let me know. id be happy to help and be involved and so would some of my friends and family. ta :)

    its a great idea

  • Nice shot making an important statement!

  • Chilly? It was freezing! Still it was a great spectacle and looks fantastic. A real statement for human rights.

  • Cant wait to see the photos from other Fire Up events around the world

  • It was very cold but very worthwhile. People seemed to appreciate this event because it was a celebration instead of a protest.

  • wish i was there...

  • waaouw nice candle!

  • allbeit a little chilly, it was a fun evening. glad that the 'fire-up' worked especially when taken from a wide-angle!
