Generally, wherever in the world people know that they are able to procure the means to achieve material and psychological sustainability through a more socially co-operative lifestyle, then the peace that comes through justice tends to prevail. Perhaps our deeds change minds whether it is our intention or not, so we should aim for them to be for the general good. Could it also not be true that every positive local action does in fact change the world for the better by some small degree?
