mercilessly until my left arm got broken and the borne shot out. He would even put fire in my mouth and torture me saying that I am the
devil causing all his problems.

We the undersigned urge you to come together and implement a law that would punish anyone who labels a child as a witch with intentions of harming ( Physically or mentally ) or with intentions of extortion or exploitation of any kind. It is child abuse and should not be tolerated.

Violators should be arrested, sentenced by a high counsel, jailed and prosecuted in regards to the extent of the crime. They should also be ordered to pay for the rehabilitation of the child.

Unfortunately many of the children are starved, tortured, abandoned and even killed because their parents and the communities are afraid. This forum has never witnessed a single episode that stirred so many responses, so much anger, sadness, sympathy and calls for some heads to roll in its history until last month. Picking through stacks of emails for the last three weeks or so it does appear the discussion has subsided with time. The issue that caused so much emotion in so many parts of the world since shown on London Channel 4 TV titled, YouTube, Facebook, BBC, etc., “Saving Africa’s Children” has not gone away and will not go away until the problems are nipped in the bud. That will take hard work. Last week I decided to check out things for myself during a brief stopover in Akwa Ibom.
