José Daniel Alvarez was 19 when his father was killed in Pueblo Bello in the North West of Colombia in a massacre of 43 campesinos (peasant farmers) by paramilitaries on 14 January 1990.

This 2006 interview describes the events that took place and the present status of the investigations into the massacre.
